Website analytics privacy

Anyplane uses self-hosted Umami to understand use of Missionplane's public pages and signed-in web app. We count normalized screens with generic page titles and a fixed set of actions, such as starting a conversation or submitting a message. We also measure page performance: time to first byte, first contentful paint, largest contentful paint, layout shift and interaction latency.

Analytics does not include message or agent content, account or resource identifiers, or page-authored titles. It retains only approved values for the utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign and utm_content campaign parameters; other values are grouped as “other,” and other query parameters and URL fragments are discarded. It does not use persistent tracking cookies or browser storage. Missionplane does not enable session replay or heatmaps. Your browser's Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control settings disable collection.

Usage sessions are pseudonymous: Umami derives an identifier from connection and browser information using a salt that rotates monthly. Reports may include browser and device information, language, coarse location, and the referring site's origin. We do not send the referring page's path or query.

Analytics events expire after 180 days, and replay and heatmap data after 14 days. Deleted analytics can remain in encrypted backups for up to 14 more days.

Separately from analytics, our gateway security log records the client IP address, host, route, time and response code for 30 days. We use it to protect the service, not for advertising or to track you across other companies' apps and websites.
